Video games have its own advantages and disadvantages
Advantages:
It is a good source of interaction with friends and a fun source of entertainment. It also gives you the opportunity to meet new people online. If playing games such as online basketball, football or any other sport or educational game, we learn some basic rules of the game and facts.
Disadvantages:
Excess of anything is a disadvantage. If we spent too much time on video games, it deviates us from the rest of the world. We give up on our hobbies, skills, and spending time with friends or family. It also affects our attention span, thus resulting in constant irritation and for some, also makes us hate learning.
Sir Issac Newton, a great scientist, would NOT have been able to discover and understand nature and laws as video games would reduce his attention span and also would prevent him from spending time on time consuming things.
This is has all been proven, as seen in human behaviour that 99% of the time we do not want to spend time on something we 'dislike' as we would much rather spend time on things we 'like' that is video games.
