Evaluate the following.
a) 8x² + 5xy - y3 for x = 3 and y = 2
b) 9x2 + 3x = 2 + 4 for x = 5​

Answer:

8x {}^{2}  + 5xy - 3y(x = 3)(y = 2)

72 + 30 - 6 = 96

9x {}^{2}  + 3x = 2 + 4(x = 5)

225 + 15 = 6
