India is a sovereign country which follows the three organs of government. The government is divided into three organs namely: Legislature, Judiciary and Executive.
Legislature: This organ implements the laws.
Judiciary: This organ interprets the laws.
Executive: This organ passes the laws.
This type of feature was taken from the Montesquieu's theory of separation of powers. Montesquieu was a French philosopher who mentioned this theory in book spirit of laws. This theory is based on the checks and balances.
But India follows only some from this theory as legisture and executive are same in India. But this theory was accurately followed by the presidential countries like USA.In this theory one organ checks another organs functions.
