Evaluate the role of people 's participation for good governance in India

Until and unless people participate in the governance of a country they dont use their right to the extent needed for a good rule. As people start showing their interest in governments duty and actively participate in all the matters they create a pressure on the government which pushes them to work properly and in case of a democracy like India it surely leads to good governance .
