Answer:

Poor quality delivery service means you do not get the standard of service that you pay for. Communities also convey discontent and dissatisfaction at inadequate provision of infrastructure, lack of access to sanitation, mismanagement and corruption by demonstrations that occur frequently across the nation.

Explanation:

There are large & glaring problems & inefficiencies in public service delivery in India. Some key Public Services are  Education, Healthcare, Social services for the poor & marginalised,  Infrastructure such as railways, roads & airways, telecommunications, water, electricity, environmental protection, sanitation & waste management.

The reasons for such poor service delivery in India are councillor interference & political manipulation, lack of transparency & accountability and corruption, inadequate participation of the citizen, poor human resource policy, lack of employee ability, failure to manage change, poor planning, & poor monitoring and evaluation

Service provision in India is a challenge and is particularly inefficient. Nearly two decades of accelerated economic development, and the challenges that policy makers are facing is to ensure that benefits from higher national incomes are shared across any segment of society and sustainable growth is the gateway to all layers of society.

It is important to offer basic services like health and education to all people , especially when they are absolutely required, as they are not only priorities per se but also play a crucial role in improving individual abilities to fully engage in economic development.
