Hi there,

Whenever we say that evaporation is an surface phenomenon, we meant that the sumall fraction of exposed object gets heated up layer by layer. This explains that in evaporation the water molecules are arranged in a layer and gets heated up. This heat allows molecules to overcome intermolecular force and they evaporate.

This process is known as evaporation an states that its an surface phenomenon.

Hope it helps☺!✌

hey mate

hello

here is answer

evaporation

firstly what is evaporation ::
evaporation is the process of changing water into vapour in surrounding temperature and conditions and pressure also ..

we have no need to provide extra heat and pressure..

A.T.Q..
:))

< evaporation is known as surface phenomenon> ^-^

it is known as surface phenomenon because it occurs on surface

when the surface area increases then the rate of evaporation also increases

when the surface area decreases then the rate of evaporation also decreases..

for example : if you take a wet cloth and leave it by folding ..then you will observe after some time it takes more time in becoming dry

but if you do not fold cloth and then leave it then you will observe it is taking less time

hope it may help you
