even though bark is destroyed the plant survives. give reasons?​

even if the bark it destroyed the plant survives and the bark grows again ,a tree dies when the roots of the tree is removed from the ground ,as root is the important thing in a plant as it absorbs water from the ground . and a bark as no important function to do . but the root does not grows again
