Nitrogen has a lone pair, which causes bond pair - lone pair distortion and the bond angle is deviated.
Hope it may help you !!!!!

❤. The central atom of NH3 molecule is N.

❤. It undergoes sp3 hybridisation.

❤. it contains one lone pair and three bond pairs of electrons.

❤. So its shape should be Tetrahedral with bond angle 109degree 28` .

❤. Bur according to VSEPR theory, repulsion arises between lone pair and bond pair of electrons.

❤. So the bond angle reduces to 107degree and shape changes to pyramidal
