Even through Alcohol and glucose contain hydrogen they are not considered as acids. why?

alcohol and glucose contains OH~ not hydrogen .

in aqueous solution  they do not give h+ ions therefore  they cannot conduct electricity  thus glucose and alcohols are not acids
