Even today there is a need of movements like chipko movement. This is because there is a lot of deforestation going on around us in the city and developing towns. For the construction of roads and appartments in the city for the development of township and Various other projects, for the expansion of roads there is a constant deforestation going on around us in the country and the government is also less reluctant about this issue.

With the increase in population, the area for a living is too increasing day by day.

As the need of an area for plots is increasing, so the forest land is now getting cleared to make way for the humans.

Due to this many trees are fallen, and as a result, the tree cover area is getting less.

So to save the trees from getting fell, you need to go for Chipko movement, and this can only save the trees from cutting.
