Every dimension of a rectangle is multiplied by 5. Which is equal to the ratio of the perimeters

Answer:

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

if :- 5l + 5l + 5b + 5b

  = 10l + 10b

  perimeter of new rectangle = 10(l+b)

Thereby, perimeter increases by 5 times if the dimesnsions are increased by 5.

ratio of old perimeter to the new perimeter = 2 : 10

                                                                              1 : 5
