Every rational number can be expressed as a decimal number.

More:

  • A rational number can be written in form of p/q where p, q ∊ Z and q ≠ 0.
  • It has two type of decimal expansions, viz., non - terminating recurring and terminating decimal expansion.
  • It is denoted by 'Q' which means quotient.
