The best example to prove this is India. There are various types of differences, yet we are one. This is the special speciality of India where several races, communities, religions, castes, creeds, etc. coexist in harmony. This is contrary to the other countries and places. In many African countries, there are continuous clashes and revolts between various communities and groups, or between them and the government. In USA and other countries (especially African) where slaves were to from Africa there are clashes between the Whites (Europeans) and the Blacks (the Natives). Such countries are not socially diverse like India, yet there is social division, instability, disharmony and revolts. India has been able to maintain this diversity in peace and harmony. Jawaharlal Nehru had said, "Unity is Diversity." Not just India, there are several other countries that are not socially diverse like India, but there are several groups and communities who should remain in revolt but are in peace. So social diversity or difference does not mean social division. Example of India itself can break this myth.
