every year at least 50 classroom desks are damaged because of irresponsible bihaviour towards school property. how could this problem be takled

The first thing to be done is to make them aware that these things are not to be damaged. They must be thought to see their classroom as their own and not to damage it.........

Children should be responsible, counselled and talked to. They should be told that the desks also cost money. They have to know about what they are doing, and then when they won't get any desks, then they might understand. Otherwise, serious measures might have to be taken.
