I honestly must say the quote : “Everyone, deep in their hearts, is waiting for the end of the world to come.” Said by Haruki Murakami. The film Wall-E shows how people came together in the end to realize what they had done, and to fix it. Also, they didn’t care about the end of the world, because they have a massive ship and they all live happy. It’s not just Wall-E, but in the TV series The Walking Dead, the characters most definitely did not wish their situation was happening. Fighting zombies, killing their infected friends. Not a good time. I tried grasping what the writer of the quote meant, but I just cannot.
