The meaning of word
virtual is ‘made to appear to exist by the use of computer software, for
example on the internet’. In the chapter ‘Virtually True’ the author saved
Sebastian Schultz inside a computer game. It was real; but it was virtual. The climax
as well as the major events happened in the virtual world of computes. So the narrator’s statement is appropriately
justified.
