# fossils are the evidences of evolution.

They are the preserved traces of living organisms formed under high pressure long ago.

when organisms die their bodies will decompose and be lost. But every once in a while , the body or atleast some parts may be in an environment that doesnot let it decompose completely . This forms a fossil under high pressure.

There are two methods to determine the age of fossils. They are Carbon dating method and by finding depth.
