It is noticed that as a gas bubble formed at the bottom of a lake rises, it grows in size. Why?

The pressure at the bottom of the lake is immense because of the liquid over it…. AsAs the bubble rises its surface area increase and it becomes wider as the upper layers has less water pressure on them…
