all living things are identified and characterized on the basis of their body design in the form and function some characteristics are likely to make more wide-ranging changes in body designs than others there is a real or role of time as well characteristics that came into existence earlier are likely to be more basic than characteristics that have come into existence later this means that the classification of life forms will be closely related to their evolution

Classification of organisms is based on the relative similarities and differences among resemblances in organisms are because they are risen from a common ancestor and differences between them are due to adaptions to the different types of environment.As the organisms can be graded in order of increasing complexity it indicates at the concept of evolution.
