Powers of Indian parliament are classified in following:-

  1. Legislative.
  2. Executive.
  3. Judicial.
  4. Financial.
  5. Diplomatic.
  6. Military.

Judicial Power :-

  • They have powers to punish the one who break laws.

  • The upper level of our judiciary system is Supreme Court. Next come High Court and the last one is District Court.

  • All issues of district court and high court is fixed by supreme court.

Electoral Power , Election Commission of India :-

  • Election Commission is a self governing body.

  • It administers election of Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha, Vidhan Parishad, President, Vice President, president.

  • Chief election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners are appointed by President.
