the role of awadh peasents in non cooperation movement are as follows

in awadh the peasent movement was led by baba ramchandra
the movement here was against talukdars ans landlords who demanded high rents from peasents in awadh
the peasent movement demanded reduction of revenue and abolition of begar
in many places nai dhobi bandhs were organised to depribe landlords of tge services of washermen and barber
within a month over 300 branches were setup all over the village
as the movement was spread in 1921 , tge house of landlords, talukdars n merchants were attacked
