Step-by-step explanation:

x3+3x2+5x+6

=x2(x+2) + x(x+2) + 3(x+2)

=(x2+x+3) (x+2)

therefore.....(x+2) is a factor of the 1st expression.

In 2x+4

by taking 2 common....we get (x+2) as a factor.
