Given :-

  • Mass of solid 16 kg

To Find :-

  • Density of the solid

Solution :-

Initial level of water in cylinder ➛ 50 ml

level of water in cylinder after solid is lowered

into the cylinder ➛ 58 ml

Volume of solid is ➛ 58 - 50 ➛ 8 ml

∴ Density of the solid ➛ mass

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ________

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Volume

  \small{ \red{\tt ➥\frac{16}{8} ↬ 2}}

  • Hence the density is 2
