Solution :-

Initial level of water in cylinder ➛ 50 ml

level of water in cylinder after solid is lowered

into the cylinder ➛ 58 ml

Volume of solid is ➛ 58 - 50 ➛ 8 ml

∴ Density of the solid ➛ mass
