a) how much current will an electric bulb drawn from a 220 volt source if the resistance of the filament is 1200 Ohm ?

Answer:

From the question its given ,

V = 22oV
R = 1200ohm

I = V/R
I = 220/1200
I = 0.8 A

b) how much current will an electric heater coil draw from a 220 volt source if the resistance of the heater coil is hundred ohm.

Answer:

We have,

V = 220V
R = 100ohm
I = V/R
I = 220V/ 100ohm
I = 2.2A
