GIVEN

  • Circumference = 396 cm
  • π = 22/7

TO FIND

  • Radius of Circle?

Solution:

Let the Radius of the circle be x

 \\ \circ \: \: \: {\boxed{\tt\large{ \pink{Circumference_{(Circle)} } = 2πr }}} \\

After Substituting values in the Formula,

 \colon\implies{\tt{ Circumference_{(Circle)} = 2πr }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ 396 = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times x}} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ \dfrac{ \cancel{396} \times 7 }{2 \times \cancel{22} } = x }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ \dfrac{ \cancel{18} \times 7}{ \cancel{2} } = x }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ x = 9 \times 7 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\boxed{\mathfrak\green{ x = 63 \ cm}}} \\

Hence,

  • The Radius of the Circle is 63 cm .

More to Know:

  • \circ \: {\boxed{\tt\gray{ Area_{(Circle)} = πr^2 }}} \\

  • \circ \: {\boxed{\tt\gray{ Area_{(Semi-Circle)} = \dfrac{πr^2}{2} }}} \\

  • \circ \: {\boxed{\tt\gray{ Circumference_{(Semi-Circle)} = πr + 2r }}} \\
