Given:

Two force of 5N and 7N acts on a particle with an angle of 60degree between them

\purple{\huge{\bold{\mathcal{Answer}}}}

let

f1=5N

f2=7N

angle(theta)=60degree

using the formula

r =  \sqrt{(f1) {}^{2} + (f2) {}^{2}   + 2(f1)(f2) \cos(60) }  \\  r =  \sqrt{5 {}^{2}  + 7 {}^{2}  + 2(5)(7)( \frac{1}{2} )}  \\ r =  \sqrt{25 + 49 + 35}  \\ r =  \sqrt{109}  \\
