the price will be inversely proportional to the consumption i.e when the price increase consumption decrease.
so here let initial cost be 100 and it increased to 160
so ratio of price is 100:160
consumption will be in inverse ratio 160:100
on simplifying the ratio becomes 8:5
so 3 units = 30
1 unit =10
so the initial consumption was 10*8= 80 kg and now it reduced to 10*5= 50 kg
so initial price 800/80= 10/kg
cost of potatoes this year 800/50 = 16/kg
