Examples of decomposition reaction are :

(1)2feSO4----heat ----->fe2O3+SO2+SO3

(2) CaCO3---heat --->caO+CO2

CaCO3(s)+heat→CaO(s)+CO2(g) - calcium carbonate decomposes into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide when heated
