A note is an information for conveying the message to a person who is already known.
The addressee is addressed as For Xyz. There are no opening and closing salutations. For example write a note to your mother for late coming to home.
For Mummy,
I shall be late from school today, as I am going to Sachin' s home after school and shall be back by 7PM.
