Web servers are servers which are used to return submissions to clients on the WWW (World wide web). They can have many websites in the web server. The errors caused today like Error 403, 500 and many others are due to the inability of the server to function properly. The HTTP request we give got to the web server and if they accept it, we will getb a result back from the web server. We can also see small web servers embedded on the routers and some devices which work for the LAN. Without a web server no one could get any results on internet nor even i could write this answer. Hence web server is very essential.

- Apache web server: It is a open source and free web server. It was released on apache license and it is a good HTTP server.
- Internet information services web server: It is created by the microsoft and it can support many protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, smtp and many more.
