there are many examples of honesty is the best policy like a story a poor man went to forest for cutting trees and his axe fell into the water and water god came out nd saw a golden axe to him and asked is it urs he replied no again water god came out nd saw him a silver axe and asked is it urs he replied no again water god came out nd saw his original axe to him the man was very happy to see his own axe nd water god was very impressed by his honesty nd he gave all 3 axes to the poor man..hope it help u

Story 1
At school, Simi realized that she forgot to bring extra money for ice cream that day. She decided to make an excuse to her teacher and ask for a lunch voucher, pretending to forget her lunch money.
her friend Ramya warned about the act. But see me didn't listen.She bought an ice cream with half of the money and put the remaining ₹10 in her drawer.
At recess the teacher saw Simi eating an ice cream. She asked her, from where she got the money to buy it. Simi panicked and replied that she had borrowed some money from her friend Ramya.
By chance, the same day, another boy Tejas in her class lost a₹10 note. Teacher enquired about it and asked if anyone had seen it. Nobody replied. Later on, when teacher came to Simi's desk to check her homework, Simi took out the notebook from the drawer. Suddenly her ten rupee note fell on the floor. Teacher noticed but didn't comment.
After class, Simi had to go to the principal room for an explanation. The young girl realised that her little lie got her into such big trouble.
