In a Bahuvrihi Samas the total compound word consists of two words which together make no sense. It forms a different word -third meaning-  eg.क्षुद्रबुध्दि the 2 words here are kshudra(inferior) budhi(intellect) together make no sense. A third word is formed meaning 'The one who has inferior intellect' क्षुद्रा बुध्दि यस्य सः। note: while dissolving take into consideration number case and gender accordingly dissolve the samas
