Examples that illustrate the fact that gases have volume are -:

1. When we inflate a balloon, in other words, try to fill it with air, it expands. This shows that the more is the amount of air in the balloon, the more inflated it appears, or its volume increases.
2. When a gas liquified, we actually change its density, which is possible by compressing it. Which shows that the gas did possess some initial volume, and when it was compressed, it's volume decreased resulting in an increase in density, to give a liquid.
