  • Plants do not have any specialised structure for excreiton of waste. Plant get rid of waste by combining them with inorganic salts to form insoluble crystals that are harmless. These are deposited in the bark, old leaves, dead wood, and other special cells. Carbon dioxide, oxygen, excess water, excess salts, gums, resins and latex are some of the product excreted by plants.
