Answer:

1)Organisms need to take food to get energy and perform life processes. A living organism undergoes many life processes like nutrition, respiration, digestion, transportation, excretion, circulation of blood, and reproduction. To perform all these life processes the organism needs energy and nutrients.

2)Difference between Parasite and Saprotroph

1. The organism that grows on the body of another organism and derives nutrients from it is known as a parasite, whereas the organism that obtains nutrients from the dead or decaying organic matter is called saprotroph.

2.Parasites absorb prepared food from the host, whereas Saprotrophs digest food outside the body and absorbs digested food.

3)Experiment to test the presence of starch in leaves:-Image courtesy of

1.Take two healthy green potted plants of the same type.

2.Keep one potted plant in a dark room for one or two days in order to remove all the starch from the leaves.

3.Keep the other plant in sunlight.

4.Now, take one leaf from each potted plant and put a few drops of iodine solution on them.

5.Then note down the observation.

4)We all know that plants are the primary source of food for all the life forms o the earth. Plants make food by themselves and we all are dependent on plants for food. The process of preparation of food in plants is named as photosynthesis. Let us dive deep into this process.

5)your answer is in picture

6)autotrophs, because in plant leaves they contain pigment call chlorophll which they colour green where they can make food for plant used from carbon dioxide, nutrients, water and light energy source through the process of photosynthesis.
