order in each of the following triangles :
( 1 ) In A ABC, ZA = 50° and Z B= 60°
(2) In A PQR, ZP= 40° and ZR= 80°
(3) In AXYZ, ZX= 80° and ZY= 30°

Answer:

Using angle sum property in △ABC

∠A+∠B+∠C=180

⇒50

+60

+∠C=180

⇒∠C=70

In any triangle side opposite to the largest angle is the longest side.

Here ∠C is largest and side opposite to it is AB

∴AB is the longest side.

Then comes ∠B and side opposite to it is AC

∴AC is the second longest side.

Then comes ∠A and side opposite to it is AC

∴BC is the shortest side.

So the increasing order of sides is

BC<AC<AB
