Q2. in the adjoining figure the line P is parallel to line Q and line R and line M is a transversal. if angle 2 is equal to 1 15 degree then find the measure of the angles angle 1, angle 3z and 4 and angle 5

40+u=180°

⇒u=140°

ω+u=180 °

⇒ω=180°−u

=40°

∠z=70°(vertically opposite angles)

∠y+∠z=180°

⇒∠y=180°−∠z

180°−70°

=110°

⇒ω+x=180°

∴x=140°
