Show that the sequences 7, 2, -3, -8,...... is an A.P. Find its general term.​

Answer:

in the sequence: 7, 2, -3, -8...

let t1=7

t2= 2

t3=-3

t4= -8

now,

t2 - t1 = 2 - 7= -5

t3 - t2 = -3 - 2= -5

t4 - t3 = -3 - (-8) = -3 + 8= -5

therefore the common difference is -5
