Photosynthesis is the process through which plants make their own food because they are autotrophs. It akash with the help of chlorophyll present in the the plant cell leaves.

Transpiration is the process through which plants remove extra water from them which helps in the movement of water from the roots into the different parts of the plant. It occurs through the stomata in the leaves.

Leaf spines or structures like thorns and prickles are hard and rigid extensions in the leaves and the stems of the plant which helps in the protection of the plant. This is how a plant protects itself.

Leaf Tendrils are specialised stem which helps climbing plants to attach themselves to a support near them.

Pitcher plant is a carnivorous plant which traps insects with the help of specialised leaves for attaining nutrients.

Chlorophyll is a cell organelle that has green pigment which helps in trapping sunlight for the process of photosynthesis.
