- As we know that a single cell can not give a large amount of current whereas electric circuit provides large amount of current.So when we touch a cell it does not affect our body where on touching electric socket we can get bad shock.

- Make sure the switch is on so the circuit is closed. The positive terminal should be connected to the negative terminal incase you have 2 cells (battery) .
