(a) Major landforms are Plains, Mountains and Plateaus.

(b) Mountain is any natural elevated of the earth surface whereas a plateau is an elevated flat land. Mountains have peaks whereas plateau have flattened highlands.

(c) Mountains are of three types i.e Fold mountains , Block mountains and Volcanic mountains.

(e) Plains are large stretches of land. They mostly formed by rivers and their tributaries.

(f) The rivers plains are thickly populated as more flat land is available for building houses and cultivation.

Answer plateau, mountain,land.2 mountain is big and tall but plateau is bulked out from land.3 volcano,old mountain,young mountain 4 mountains provide us tiles and other hard ware products they have glaciers that is is the source of river that provide us water as glaciers are connected to many rivers 6 plain have higher fertility to grow plants and vehicle can easily run in plain that's why it is highly populated. 7 in mountain air is light and it is hard to breathe sometimes from this blood came from nose so that's why it is thinly populated.
