PROPERTIES OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF HAIRS

Porcupine:

Porcupine doesn't have hairs but they have quills (spines). The anti-microbial action is related to free unsaturated fats covering the quills. Anti-toxin properties are found in Porcupine's quills. Half force of hypodermic needle is needed to porcupine to just make a whole through our skin.

Sheep:

Hairs of sheep are also known as fleece. Fleece is the thick cover or coat of wool on their body. The function of fleece is to keep the body of sheep warm. Woollen sweaters in winters are made from sheep's fleece.

Cat :

Hairs of cat are also termed as fur. Cat's fur also plays a significant role in keeping their body warm. As from other animals, they required more amount of heat. It protects skin from waterproofing and prove protection.
