The thought,
"AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY!" is wrong.
This is none other than a wrong belief. It is a FOOF FAD. A food fad is a wrong belief about any food, fruits, etc. which have been heard so long but still wrong scientifically. An apple provides less energy as compared to guava so its better to eat guava than apple as apple is costly and also provides less energy. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" is a very old thought. This means that if we eat an apple each day then we will never need a doctor i.e. we will never get ill. This thought we all have heard since our childhood. It is a very famous thought. Although its wrong, but still it has a lot of importance.
