Expansion on heating can be a nuisance because in summer all the things get expanded.

If this happens, For eg:-the track of the train is divided into sections which are joined by a different type of rectangular hook. But, if the track gets expanded the track can bend and can cause severe accidents.

For eg:-If the wire in a electric circuit gets expanded the it can lead to a short circuit which can burn our hand.
