Test for Co2 :-

If we pass a gas through quick lime for a short time, the quik lime will turn milky because of the presence of Co2, and it forms calcium carbonate

Take 2 test tubes and fill them with fresh lime water. Seal them with corks having a delivery tube in each.The other end of the delivery tube should be open in air.

Now, blow air with your mouth in one of the tubes. You will see that the lime water turns milky in this tube.It does'nt turn milky in the other one.

As we exhale Co2 so it proves that Co2, exhaled by us in this case, turns lime water milky.
