Germinate some moong seeds for 12-18 hours.
Let them grow into seedlings. This may take
1-2 days more.
Collect some soil, compost and NPK
fertilizers. These will have to be mixed as
explained below.
Take four empty glasses. In the first
glass, put some soil mixed with compost.
In the second glass, put soil mixed
with NPK fertilizer. In the third glass,
put some soil mixed with both compost
and NPK fertilizer. In the fourth glass,
put some soil with no manure or fertilizer
mixed with it.
Select some equal-sized seedlings, and
plant two seedlings in the soil mixture in
each glass. Pour the same amount of water
in each glass. Keep the seedlings in the
sun. Water them regularly and observe
their growth for about 10 days. Note your
