Paas the exhaled air through lime water.
If lime water turns milky it shows that air contains Carbon dioxide.
On passing Carbon dioxide through lime water white precipitate of calcium carbonate is formed which gives white color to solution.
The reaction is as follows-
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 = CaCo3 + H2O
