Answer:

The Ten percent law of transfer of energy from one trophic level to the next was introduced by Raymond Lindeman (1942). According to this law, during the transfer of energy from organic food from one trophic level to the next, only about ten percent of the energy from organic matter is stored as flesh.

Explanation: According to this law, 1% of energy is trapped by plants from the Sun for synthesising their food, then 10% of the energy used by plant is transferred to the next one, i.e. Grasshopper. After that 10% of grasshopper's energy is transferred to the next animal in the trophic level, for eg. a Hen. Then this process is continued until the end.

Hence, it is advised to eat veg food because it contains more energy while in others, the energy is 10% less than the previous level animal.

Hope it helps!!!
