From north to south, we can divide the Himalaya into 3. Himadri which is the upper Himalaya. Himachal which is the outer himalaya.... Shiwaliks which is the lower himalaya....

6000 mts above- Himadri
2800-3000mts - himachal
1500- 2100mts- shiwalik
