Federalism is a a system in which the power of government is divided between the Union and Central government .So, basically it is division of power between different levels .
Five key features of federalism are :
1.The government is divided between more than two tiers (or levels).
2.All the levels of government have specific and limited powers .
3.Different levels of government rule the same citizens but have different juridictions(powers are limited) like taxes .
4.Court can interept between any dispute of different levels of government .
5.No single level of government can change the Constitution .
